about

“The kitchen sink and its psychic matter” is based on the idea of producing songs with a high level of individual input – the way we feel music should be created, which is perhaps opposed to the mainstream terms of how music has to sound. Even with limited resources, we put an emphasis on quality and took the necessary time to allow ideas to develop naturally. We spent almost one year in Patrick’s studio trying to find our sound and recording our music. All instruments (except keys) were recorded naturally via Focusrite preamps and converters and without the use of virtual amps and similar nonsense.
